With our strong overseas network we can easily coordinate many factories to work on a single more complex product. In many cases it does not make sense to have one factory make all the parts required for a particular assembly. In these cases we typically source the components out to factories that specialize in the individual pieces of the assembly and then coordinate a factory for the final assembly. Taking advantage of the low cost labor to assemble the final product is usually the preferred route but other options are available. In some cases customers choose to assemble a certain percent of the final product in the US for confidentiality reasons, secret assembly methods or just the ability to mark the products with “Assembled in the USA”.
